Grams and Gramps visit San Jose

The pain of parenting

The pain of parenting a little girl who apparently has a soul older than what she is is tougher than it looks. She thought this outfit was cute enough to go out of the house.

I stopped asking to take a picture of the new clothes that Tea (Jenn's daughter) gave her because she was having way too much fun and actually had a fit when I told her she could not wear it outside of the house.

This weekend Alyssa and I will put on a runway show and you can see all the crazy outifts she puts together and loves!

Birthday parties galore!

Alyssa is usually not shy at all but she would not hit the pinata at Andrew's 4th birthday party. After all of the kids went through their turns, she decided to give it a whack. Instead of doing the 3 that she, and every other child did, she took 4! She really go into picking up the candy. She came back to Rob and I with her entire bag full! That's our girl!

Bowling for the first time at her cousin Kevin's 5th birthday party. She really loved bowling. Daddy helps her with her first ball.

Wouldn't be Alyssa without stopping to smile for the camera...

The ball took such a long time that the arm thingy came down right as the ball was going through. She knocked down 3 pins! woo hoo!

Alyssa and Andrew waiting for the cake...

Must be cake time! Sarah and Alyssa.

Update on Baby Ryan

Our doctors appt went well yesterday. We have 6 weeks and 1 day to go!

Ryan is almost 5 pounds or there abouts (half way there!) and almost 18 inches. I guess I looked like I was trying to picture his size because she said he was most likely the size of a pineapple. Interesting. His lungs and CNS is almost completely matured which means if he was born in about a week then all would be good. We are not hoping for that!

Lists are being made and some things are even being checked off our list! Our co-ed baby shower will be next Saturday and we are looking forward to that. Interestingly enough, this will be our first co-ed baby shower in our group so we are hoping for the best! We are going for a backyard BBQ with no games so the guys won't wish they were anywhere but where they are at.
